Individual Tax Preparation in Raleigh, NC

For business owners, and for individual returns complex enough to deserve real attention — coordinated by the CPA who actually does the work, not handed off to a seasonal preparer.

Built for complexity, not volume

We prepare individual returns for our business clients as a matter of course — K-1 income, entity coordination, all of it. We also take on individual returns for people who aren't business owners, as long as the return has real complexity behind it: multiple income sources, equity compensation, rental property, a K-1 from somewhere else, a significant life event.

If your return is a W-2 and a standard deduction, you'll get better value from a preparer built for high volume — that's genuinely not how we're set up, and we'd rather tell you that upfront than take on work that isn't the right fit for either of us.

What's Involved

What we handle on an individual return

Coordinated Owner Returns

Prepared alongside your business return by the same CPA, so K-1 and pass-through income lands correctly the first time.

Multi-Entity K-1 Consolidation

Own more than one business? Every K-1 rolled into one return by someone who already understands how the entities relate.

Complex Individual Returns

Equity compensation, rental property, multiple income sources, or K-1s from entities we don't manage — business owner or not.

Self-Employment Tax

Sole proprietor and partnership income carries SE tax that a generic preparer might miss the context on.

Estimated Payments

Quarterly estimates sized to your actual year, not last year's number carried forward out of habit.
